CipherVault (also known as "Şifre Kasası" in Turkish, "Passwort-Tresor" in German) is designed with a privacy-first approach. We believe that your passwords and personal data belong solely to you.
Summary: CipherVault is an offline application. We do not transmit, store, or process your data on any external servers. All your data stays on your device.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage data, or analytics. The application operates entirely offline (locally) on your device.
Any passwords, usernames, notes, or other information you enter into CipherVault are stored securely in an encrypted database on your device's internal storage. This data is encrypted using industry-standard AES-GCM encryption.
The application requests the minimum necessary permissions to function:
Your data is encrypted using the Android Keystore system. The encryption keys are generated and stored safely within your device's secure hardware (TEE/SE) where available. Since the app is offline, your data is not vulnerable to remote server attacks managed by us.
The application does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs.
